Lab Test
Drug ScreeningDrug Screening Test Panel — Expanded
About this test
This urine drug screen tests for 13 drugs and drug classes. It can be used for personal awareness or workplace documentation. This is not a legal chain-of-custody test and cannot be used for legal or forensic purposes.
Detection windows vary by substance, amount used, and individual metabolism. Any initial positive result is confirmed before being reported. A negative result means no substance was detected above the reporting threshold — it does not guarantee zero exposure.
Components
- Barbiturates (BAR): Screens for sedative-hypnotic drugs in the barbiturate class, such as phenobarbital and butalbital.
- Benzodiazepines (BZO): Screens for common anti-anxiety and sleep medications such as diazepam, alprazolam, and clonazepam.
- Cocaine (COC): Detects benzoylecgonine, the primary cocaine metabolite. Typically detectable for 2–4 days after use.
- Marijuana (THC): Detects THC-COOH, the main breakdown product of cannabis. Can remain detectable for days to weeks depending on frequency of use.
- Opiates (OP): Screens for morphine, codeine, and related natural or semi-synthetic opioids.
- Phencyclidine (PCP): Detects PCP, a dissociative drug sometimes called Angel Dust.
- Amphetamine (AMP): Screens for amphetamine-type stimulants including amphetamine and methamphetamine. Certain prescription medications can produce a positive result.
- Methadone (MTD): Detects methadone and its metabolite EDDP. Methadone is used both as a prescription pain medication and as a treatment for opioid dependence.
- MDMA (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine): Screens for MDMA, also known as ecstasy or molly.
- Oxycodone (OXY): Specifically screens for oxycodone and related metabolites, separate from the general opiate screen.
- Fentanyl (FEN): Detects fentanyl and its metabolites. Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid that is not captured by the standard opiate screen and requires its own targeted test.
- Propoxyphene: Screens for propoxyphene, an opioid pain reliever.
- LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide): Detects LSD, a hallucinogenic drug. LSD is present in urine at very low concentrations and is typically detectable for 1–3 days after use.
Who is this test for?
This test is appropriate for individuals who want a personal baseline on substance exposure, those preparing for employer-required non-DOT screening, or people in early recovery who want to self-monitor. It is not appropriate for legal, court-ordered, or DOT-regulated situations, which require a chain-of-custody collection process.
