About this test

This women's health screening panel combines five of the most clinically relevant routine tests for women into a single visit, adding a thyroid check to the standard health profile. Women are significantly more likely than men to develop thyroid disease, making TSH a particularly important addition to routine women's health screening.

This panel provides a broad baseline assessment covering blood cell health, organ function, cardiovascular risk, urinary health, and thyroid function — appropriate for annual wellness visits at any age.

Components

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC): Checks red blood cells (anemia screening — iron-deficiency anemia is particularly common in women of reproductive age due to monthly blood loss), white blood cells, and platelets.
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP): Assesses kidney function, liver health, blood sugar, electrolytes, and protein levels across 14 markers.
  • Cholesterol and Lipid Panel: Measures cardiovascular risk factors. While heart disease risk rises sharply after menopause in women, establishing a cholesterol baseline in younger women is important for tracking future change.
  • Urinalysis: Screens for urinary tract infections (more common in women), kidney disease, and diabetes-related changes.
  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH): Women are 5–8 times more likely than men to develop thyroid disease. TSH is the most sensitive thyroid test and screens for both hypothyroidism (fatigue, weight gain, hair loss) and hyperthyroidism (anxiety, rapid heartbeat, unintended weight loss).

Who is this test for?

This profile is designed for adult women who want a practical annual health overview covering the markers most relevant to women's health — including blood count, metabolic function, thyroid, key hormones, and vitamin D. It is a good starting point for women of any age who want to stay informed about their baseline health without a clinic visit.

This test is intended for female patients only.
