About this test

This panel is designed for people who are recovering from COVID-19 and experiencing lingering symptoms — such as fatigue, brain fog, shortness of breath, or weakness. It checks five key markers that are commonly affected during and after COVID-19, providing a starting point for evaluating post-infection recovery.

These markers won't capture every aspect of long COVID, but they can identify treatable deficiencies or imbalances that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms. Results should be shared with your healthcare provider, who can place them in context with your clinical picture.

Components

• C-Reactive Protein (CRP): A protein produced by the liver in response to inflammation. Persistently elevated CRP after COVID-19 may indicate ongoing inflammation and is associated with more prolonged recovery symptoms.
• Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH): COVID-19 has been associated with thyroid disruption in some people. Checking TSH helps identify thyroid dysfunction as a contributor to fatigue, brain fog, or weight changes after infection.
• Vitamin B12: Essential for energy production, neurological function, and red blood cell health. Deficiency can worsen fatigue and neurological symptoms and is worth checking if you've been ill or had reduced appetite.
• Vitamin D (25-OH, Total): Many people with severe COVID-19 were found to have low vitamin D. Vitamin D supports immune function and helps regulate inflammation. Correcting deficiency may support recovery.
• Urinalysis: Checks for kidney involvement, which COVID-19 can affect in some people, and screens for urinary tract infection, dehydration, or other urinary health issues.
